CULTURAL EVENT ON SHAHADAT KE RANG, BALIDAANIYON KO NAMAN



Cultural Event on
ShahadatKe Rang, Balidaaniyon Ko Naman
7th MAY 2016 ABES ENGG. COLLEGE, GHAZIABAD

IIP Foundation in association with Maulik Bharat Trust, All Grass Root Newspapers of India (AGNI), Dialogue India and Confederation of Community Based Organizations of India (CCBOS) organized a cultural event on SHAHADAT KE RANG, BALIDAANIYON KO NAMANon 7th May at ABSES Engineering College, Ghaziabad.







In this event, homage was paid to the brave soldiers who lost their lives in the Siachen Glacier avalanche that happened on 3rd February. Over 150 students from Noida and Ghaziabad participated in the cultural event with their mentors Sir PN Shukla and others. Special tribute was paid by Divyang child Master Diwakar who played accordion tunes on patriotic songs. Students also performed kathak dance and tabla jugalbandi. To encourage others to support cleanliness, students did a skit on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. There was a special choreography by NGO kids on orphanage and mother. This performance moved the audience into tears. Every performance was a fitting and glowing tribute to the Shaheeds and was praised by one and all.






Among those who graced the event included Col.A.R.Khan of 4th Grenadiers Battalion; Ms. Minali Singh d/o General (Dr.) V.K.Singh, Hon'ble Minister IC, MoEA, Govt. of India; Mr. Ajay Sehgal who represented Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Hon'ble Minister of from Ministry of Culture and Tourism; and Mr.Dipankar Shri Gyan - Director, Gandhi Samriti Darshan Samiti under Chairmanship of Sh. Narendra Modi Hon'ble Prime Minister of India and Mr. Rais Khan Pathan, Member Waqf Board, Govt. of India.

Welcoming the distinguished guests, Mr. Rajesh Goyal, Director, IIP Foundation said that this event was a unique way to pay tributes to the great martyrs and resolved to organise such events in the future too.
Some of the eminent names who made the event a great success included ‪#‎PUNYA‬, ‪#‎Prakash_Hospital‬, ‪#‎Maulik‬ _Bharat, ‪#‎CCBOS‬ of India, ‪#‎ABES_Group_of_Institutions‬, ‪#‎Dialogue_India‬ and ‪#‎Agni‬.
