MAHASHIVRATRI: A Night of Awakening

Mahashivratri, as the name denotes, is a night of Lord Shiva. A full day fast, worship the Shivling with milk, water, fruits, bael leaves and ash, chanting of shlokas, mantra of ‘Om Namah Shivay’, temple bells, devotee’s devoutness, midnight song and inebriate dance with pure love is known as Shivratri.
